Meta, a major social networking site, has just made it possible for all its Facebook and Instagram users in the United States to connect their wallets and enjoy the NFT sharing option on their respective platforms. Moreover, users from 100 different nations, including creators and collectors, have access to the feature.

In May, Meta made the announcement that it would conduct a trial of the NFT sharing feature using a select group of artists and collectors in the United States.

Now, the tech giant Meta has officially unveiled the functionality to all the Facebook and Instagram users in the region, as they are able to connect their digital wallets to both of these social media platforms. This allows users to make purchases directly from their accounts on Facebook and Instagram.

Additionally, individuals residing in the United States can now cross-post their digital collectibles across both of these major social media platforms. An updated blog post by the company reads:

โ€œToday (September 29), weโ€™re announcing that everyone on Facebook and Instagram in the US can now connect their wallets and share their digital collectibles. This included the ability for people to cross-post digital collectibles that they own across both Facebook and Instagram. Additionally, everyone in the 100 countries where digital collectibles are available on Instagram can now access the feature.โ€

In the month of August, Meta began providing support for wallets such as Coinbase Wallet, Rainbow Wallet, Dapper Wallet, and MetaMask. Moreover, Ethereum, Flow, and Polygon blockchains are also supported by the company.

As TheCoinRise reported, a group of Democratic senators recently sent a letter to Mark Zuckerberg demanding that Meta Platforms take action to stop crypto scams on its social media platforms, Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
