American Crypto Investors to Start Trading Four Different Bitcoin ETFs

American crypto investors are likely to soon be able to buy four different Bitcoin-based Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs).

ETFs are investment vehicles that monitor the performance of a digital asset or a group of assets.  In reality, ETFs allow investors to buy into the ETF without having to go through the complicated process of trading the bitcoin itself. For instance, a Bitcoin ETF would mimic the price of Bitcoin and give an investor a similar experience.

So, instead of investing their cash directly into cryptocurrencies, American investors will soon be allowed to invest their money in about four different Bitcoin ETFs.

American Crypto Investors May Soon Put Their Money Into ETFs

No doubts, most tech enthusiasts have their attentions focused on mining all kinds of cryptocurrencies, especially using expensive graphics cards. However, many investors prefer to simply invest in crypto coins instead of doing the same with overpriced hardware. But now that we have crypto business booming in the United States at the moment, American investors have not been able to put their money into crypto ETFs. However, that is about to change in the coming weeks.

Going by the information gathered from Bloomberg, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has started processing the applications of four different Bitcoin ETFs. The reports confirm that the exchange-traded funds will not be putting their digital assets directly into BTC, but rather into Bitcoin futures. Also, the Bitcoin ETFs have also been filed under the Investment Company Act of 1940. This simply means more protection on investments.

In times past, SEC has always disapproved of crypto-based ETFs, but these four new Bitcoin ETFs seem to have met the requirements of the SEC.  Therefore, it’s safe to say that the exchange-traded funds will be approved.
