Attorney Kyle Roche Stays Off Crypto Lawsuit After Crypto Leaks Exposed Hs Schemes

United States attorney Kyle Roche who has been called out many times this past week in connection to crypto cases, has publicly declared intentions to pull out from class action lawsuits involving crypto players in the industry. His decision comes after whistleblower site Crypto Leaks revealed short videos of the attorney discussing his connections with both Ripple Labs Inc and Ava Labs. 

Not certain if his withdrawal as counsel is connected to the whistleblower’s post, Kyle no longer wants to handle the class action lawsuits against Binance, Tether and Bitfinex, Tron, and BitMex. 

Particularly, he has decided to relinquish any of such high-profile crypto class-action lawsuits led by him. Most of the mentioned crypto companies are allegedly part of schemes that defrauded retail customers.

After his withdrawal, the lawsuits already filed may not be affected. Therefore, if the Roche Freedman LLP firm wishes to continue without him. it can conveniently do so. For now, withdrawing the lawsuit against Binance.US, DeFi firm Celsius, Dfinity, or Solana has not cropped up on the firm’s class action.

CryptoLeaks’ Whistleblower Action

Based on the short clips, Kyle Roche of Roche Freedman LLP met with Brad Garlinghouse, the CEO of blockchain payments firm Ripple Labs Inc to invite him to invest in a law firm that focuses on other competitors with smaller lawsuits of which Ripple is charged within the United States. 

In like manner, he insinuated that Ava Labs entered into a confidential arrangement with the law firm to “use the American legal system gangster style to attack and harm crypto organizations.” 

Interestingly, both claims were refuted by Brad and Emin Gün Sirer of Ava Labs respectively. Brad denied ever meeting with Kyle or accepting his business ideas while Emin tagged his accusations as ‘false claims.’

As part of the video released, Roche referred to jurors as “10 idiots” and the plaintiffs in the class-action lawsuits as “100,000 idiots.” In response to Crypto Leaks’ claim, Kyle said that the information was false and illegally obtained. He argued that the videos were highly edited and presented out of context.
