The Chief Executive Officers (CEO) of crypto exchange Binance and electric vehicle and clean energy company Tesla has started yet another online crypto-related battle regarding recent issues with Dogecoin (DOGE) withdrawals.

One of the biggest Dogecoin fans, Elon Musk, brought up issues related to DOGE withdrawals on the exchange giant. He took the matter to Twitter along with tagging Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ) and wrote, “What’s going on with your Doge customers? Sounds shady.”

CZ took around 30 minutes to respond to the tweet and argued that there was nothing shady within the matter. He cited a fresh Twitter post regarding the problem and said that the primary cause of the issue was some technical glitch during the recent upgrade process. He explained that this led to the old transactions being resent to 1,674 users.

Binance clarifies Tesla CEO that rebuilding might take some time

As a result, some Binance users were unable to withdraw any of their DOGE Holding, while some received old transactions. Binance further informed that it had asked those users who received the old transactions to revert them back. It further added that it understands the user’s concerns over the inability to access some of the wallets.

The exchange giant went on to say that the problem occurred only on Binance as it has a “special technical wallet set-up for Dogecoin.” It also mentioned that it has to rebuild the wallet to fix the issue, which might take “another week or so.” Before this, as we reported, Binance also faced a glitch due to which Binance.US saw a massive sudden drop in Bitcoin’s price.

It seemed that the Tesla CEO was not satisfied with Binance’s response as he continued the attack on exchange. He stated:

“Doge holders using Binance should be protected from errors that are not their fault.”

Musk further cited a thread by DOGE developers explaining that the problem began a “bit over a year ago.” The speculators are guessing that Tesla is adding Shiba Inu as their payment option on which things are still unclear.

Binance CEO eventually joined the chat and clarified that the issue is related to the “latest Doge wallet,” and he is in communication with the developers. TheCoinRise reported a recent tweet stating Tesla CEO beliefs in the potential of the meme numbers.
