‘Numbers are all Wrong’

On April 27, he resorted to Twitter to notify the public that Bloomberg’s current financial rich list includes a few erroneous facts about his fortune.

“Numbers all wrong. I don’t have anywhere near as much. Don’t know why they do this,” CZ wrote.

Binance CEO Drops a Hint

Additionally, he began his tweet with the number “4”, hinting his personal fortune should fall somewhere between Dan Gilbert’s $19.4 billion and Uday Kotak’s $13 billion.

Furthermore, Binance CEO said that he never saw the defunct FTX bitcoin exchange as a competitor. CZ said:

“We welcome more — well-run — exchanges in the space.”

CZ Continues to Refute Data from Media Outlets

Particularly, based on Bloomberg’s rich list, CZ is one of the top three financial billionaires in the world, with a net worth of $28.2 billion.

CZ’s initiative to expose reporting mistakes lines up in reflecting the CEO’s criticism of how the sector is portrayed in mainstream media reports.

The CEO has consistently refuted data gathered by major mainstream media outlets, frequently dismissing their findings as “FUD,” or “fear, uncertainty, and doubt.”

Zhao took to Twitter at the end of last year to explore the origins of the current fear, uncertainty, and doubt (FUD) surrounding his crypto exchange.

SBF Criticized Binance CEO

Being a crypto giant has its drawbacks, such as rumors and fake data that tends to spread  quickly among the public.

Back in February, the CEO of Binance replied to claims that the largest cryptocurrency trading platform was about to cut relations with US-based Web3 initiatives.

Furthermore, Patrick Hilmann, the CSO of Binance, said that SBF, the creator and ex-CEO of the now-defunct exchange FTX, repeatedly criticized and rumored about Binance’s CEO before FTX’s downfall, a tactic Hilmann referred to as “shading.”
