Binance chooses Turkey to launch its first customer service center

As per the reports, the biggest crypto exchange in the world, Binance has launched its customer service center in Turkey. The exchange picked the country after establishing a local entity two years ago for adopting it as its pilot country.

The significant level of traffic that Binance receives from Turkey could also be one of the reasons behind the exchange’s decision.

According to Similarweb data, Turkey, which is planning on crypto laws, accounts for more than 7% of desktop browser visitation to the exchange’s main platform.

Binance choose Turkey for the pilot testing

According to an announcement, Binance will provide 24/7 customer service to its Turkish consumers through its app.  If the pilot test in Turkey proves to be a success, the exchange plans to expand the service globally.

Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao stated at the Paris Blockchain Week Summit that the company wants to extend its customer service options:

“We provide customer support only via texting, and in the forthcoming period, we aim to roll this service also via phone in all countries.”

Binance will give customer support in Turkish, according to the release, and it will be available solely through the app. The purpose, according to the exchange, is to prevent fraud cases from starting in the first place.

Customers in need of assistance will be contacted via the application, and a dialogue will begin after the customer accepts the call.

Aside from expanding its services and improving the user experience, Binance is also trying to increase its position in traditional markets by investing in businesses from all sectors of the economy.

Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao believes that “forcing established enterprises to adopt crypto will put pressure on the slow-movers and raise market rivalry” to boost crypto adoption and diversify the company’s revenue.
