Crypto.com reportedly integrates Google Pay Purchase Feature on its app

The leading crypto exchange platform Crypto.com has reportedly announced the launch of its new in-app Google Pay purchase feature, allowing users to buy cryptocurrency on their Android devices via Google Pay in an easy way.

According to several reports, Crypto.com users can take advantage of the feature so long as their credit and debit cards are integrated into their Google Pay accounts. In October last year, Google Pay, the payment gateway to crypto markets for around 100 million users, also joined hands with digital asset marketplace Bakkt, as TheCoinRise reported. Moreover, in April 2022, Nexo also integrated Google Pay along with the launch of its crypto-backed Mastercard cards.

Crypto.com users may buy more than 250 crypto tokens available on the exchange platform. To use the feature, they must tap “Trade” on the Crypto.com application’s homepage and then select “Buy” to choose a cryptocurrency token. Under the “Cash” tab, they would have to select “Google Pay” and click “Buy” again. From here, the exchange will take the users to another page where they have to tick the checkbox to accept their card’s processing fees and tap “Continue” and “Confirm.”

Crypto.com and its massive expansion

The exchange’s expansion actions have been notable in the past few months. Its customers can now buy things using more than 20 cryptocurrencies and tokens thanks to Crypto.com’s May expansion of Crypto.com Pay to Shopify merchants.

Additionally, the exchange offers a Visa card that offers rewards in the form of its own Cronos (CRO) currency. After the corporation reduced such awards in May, the price of the token fell by 15%.

Apart from expanding its partnerships and new launches, the exchange is also solidifying its position by receiving support from regulatory bodies around the world. Recently, Crypto.com received regulatory approval to operate in Cyprus. In addition, it also tapped the Italian regulatory license for operations in the region.
