Ducati Enters Web3 Space

The business plans to release its debut digital collectible, a video sequence of every single Ducati logo that have been seen on the tanks of motorbikes built in Borgo Panigale from 1946 to the date.

The first release, scheduled for Wednesday, July 26th, is practically a present to Ducati enthusiasts as it moves towards the Web3 universe. Users who sign up within seven days of the collectible’s release date will have access to subsequent projects, according to Ducati.

Ducati to Launch More Initiatives Soon

According to the company’s post, additional initiatives are scheduled to be launched utilizing Ripple, which is entrusted with providing technical assistance for the fast, affordable, and environmentally friendly XRP Ledger (XRPL) blockchain. According to the corporation, the development represents the “natural evolution of its digital strategy.”

Ducati CEO Claudio Domenicali states: “Entering WEB 3.0 is another way to get closer to the Ducatisti community by further extending the number of services offered to them. It also represents an opportunity to meet and make ourselves known to a new community of NFT enthusiasts, giving them the opportunity to experience unique Ducati-style experiences and collect the digital assets that we will develop exclusively for this new dimension of the brand.”

Ripples Eyes Business Expansion

It’s worth noting that the partnership announcement comes only a few days after Ripple survived in the 2 year long case against the SEC. Notably, in December 2020, the US Securities and Exchange Commission filed a complaint against the blockchain payment network Ripple Labs for violating securities legislation.

However, following a favorable court verdict in the legal struggle between Ripple Labs and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), numerous crypto exchange businesses have declared that they will relist XRP for trade.
