Soros Fund Management is worth 27 billion USD as of now. The CEO of the organization said that although the firm owns a little crypto, she is more particularly interested in the growth of the DeFi industry. In her statement, she added:
“We own some coins — not a lot — but the coins themselves are less interesting than the use cases of Defi and things like that.”
According to Dawn Fitzpatrick, only cryptocurrencies have gone “mainstream” but, the Decentralized Finance industry is way more interesting. The reason for her remarks is that the use cases of blockchain technology are unlimited.
The investment giant will be investing in interesting DeFi projects soon. The growth of DeFi protocols like Uniswap, Compound, DYDX, and AAVE has astonished many investors. Their stable framework and unique use cases are not related to cryptocurrencies.
