Microsoft may have just revealed its laser-focus plans for gaming on the metaverse. The company who recently announced that its Microsoft Teams would be on metaverse has also said it is planning for gaming and entertainment in the virtual world.
Microsoft To Focus on Gaming For Metaverse
While speaking to Bloomberg TV, the CEO of Microsoft, Satya Nadella confirms that the software making company has its sight totally fixated on gaming for the metaverse with Xbox.
Nadella continued by expressing in great confidence, how Microsoft should be expected to “do things in gaming”. In addition, the Indian-born executive analyzed simply by using some of the already known games. He said if one takes Halo as a game for instance, it is a metaverse. Just as much as Minecraft is a metaverse, and even Flight Sim. Admitting that in some sense, those games are 2D today, he’s fully confident that the company absolutely plans to take that gaming experience to a full 3D world.
