Newegg, the electronic retail giant, has finally made an official announcement that it will accept Shiba Inu payments after heavy speculations and rumors on the same.

The firm posted on Twitter confirming that SHIB payments are now acceptable in reality on the platform. Monday onwards, Newegg will allow users to do their shopping with SHIB. Newegg has always been really positive about crypto and the technology behind it, and hence, this decision doesn’t come as a surprise.
Recently, as TheCoinRise reported, the theatre chain company AMC has hinted at its plans for a Shiba Inu payment option. During early November, there were many headlines about the company’s encrypted tweet, which hinted at the addition of SHIB as a payment option. The electronics retailer tagged SHIB’s official Twitter account and developer Shytoshi Kusama seeking a conversation.
The Shiba Inu community on Twitter flooded Twitter with assumptions about how the other commercial giant will join the $SHIB payment acceptance drive as a result of the post. Furthermore, the battle between Shiba Inu ($SHIB) and Dogecoin ($DOGE) will intensify now as Newegg allows both of them for payment.
Shiba Inu’s Commercial Dominance
Shiba Inu has been trying really hard to shift from being a meme coin to a utility token. The coin in October surpassed rival meme coin DOGE market capitalization. AMC CEO Adam Aron recently tweeted that Shiba Inu can be used for online crypto payments for booking movie tickets and snacks at the largest movie theatre chain.
Despite being down by more than 50% from SHIB all-time high at $0.000088, it is continuously marking new partnerships. The coin has been witnessing continuous four red candles in the weekly chart, but the enthusiasm among the community is undefeatable.
The crypto supporting retailer also accepts payments in OG Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Ethereum, Wrapped Bitcoin, Dai, and various stablecoins like USDC, BUSD, PAX, and GUSD.
