Orlando Bravo bullish on Bitcoin, claims that ‘its here to stay’

Orlando Bravo is a renowned billionaire, entrepreneur, and the founder of one of the most successful equity firms, Thoma Bravo. In a recent comment, the billionaire maintained a bullish stance on the king of cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin.

Bitcoin’s volatility doesn’t bother the billionaire entrepreneur and says that Bitcoin will stay for a long time. This particularly bullish remark of Orlando Bravo came during CNBC’s Delivering Alpha 2021 conference.

The billionaire further revealed that he has personally invested in Bitcoin and considers it a great work of technology. He said that he is “very bullish” on BTC and its potential in the near future.

Orlando Bravo considers blockchain very ‘powerful’

Coming out in support of Bitcoin, the billionaire focused on the fact that the youngsters of today want to be their own financial authority. According to Orlando Bravo, Bitcoin has all the qualities that support its longevity.

He said that cryptocurrencies are “frictionless” and “decentralized,” making them quite popular and useful as a payment method.

The billionaire has been an active investor in crypto projects as well. Recently, Orlando Bravo took part in the FTX Series B 900-million USD funding.

This was the biggest funding round in the history of crypto, wherein around 60 crypto-related firms and venture firms were present, including Coinbase Ventures and the Paul Tudor Jones family.

The investor further commented:

“The underlying technology of blockchain, regardless of what protocol or what system you are building upon, can be very powerful and sometimes provides better use cases than data-based software.”

Elon Musk’s comment on BTC

As Bitcoin surged by more than 10% today, various crypto firms and investors have come out to give their remarks on the existence of crypto.

While many firms and billionaires like Orlando Bravo still believe in the advancement of cryptocurrencies, Tesla owner Elon Musk recently spoke that it is possible for the government to slow down the advance of cryptocurrencies in the short term. 

According to Elon, it is impossible to destroy cryptocurrencies or blockchain tech but, it is certainly possible to delay their growth.
