Raoul Pal believes that the bullish crypto cycle will extend beyond 2021

Raoul Pal, former Goldman Sachs hedge fund manager and founder of Real Vision, has once again made headlines after his recent comments regarding the current crypto market cycle. He believes that the current cycle won’t end this year and will continue to the next but, the road might be a little bumpy in the near future. 

In a Real Vision interview conducted on Nov. 3rd, Raoul Pal made a prediction regarding the current Bitcoin and altcoin bull run. According to the founder of Real Vision, the bullish trajectory will continue instead of ending like it did in 2015 and 2017. He believes that the cycle will end somewhere between March and June 2022. 

Raoul Pal explained his bullish stance on the market with ETH 2.0 release and the Ethereum ETF approval by the SEC. In his statement, he said,

“My guess is that we probably have a sell-off, and then it rips again because that is the path of most pain, and markets tend to take the path of most pain.”

Raoul Pal heavily bullish on ETH 

According to Raoul Pal, Ethereum will reach higher prices and prove to be “the greatest trade” for investors once the ETH ETF and ETH 2.0 come out. These launches will result in an increased inflow of institutional money in Ethereum as the bullish rally extends. 

“Institutions tend to make asset allocation decisions by quarters, and my guess is January to March quarter next year we’re going to see a huge inflow,” said Pal.

According to data from Ecoinometrics, Bitcoin prices might target $253,800 by the end of the bullish cycle. Raoul Pal hinted at the new ETH 2.0 staking feature introduced in various exchanges, saying,

“Everybody is staking their ETH. It’s creating this incredible supply and demand imbalance in ETH where there’s only about 11% of the total ETH supply available. Everything else is locked up for this staking.”

Bitcoin’s market cycles move in terms of 4 years, around the halving event, which happens once every 4 years. Currently, from the last halving event of May 2020, Bitcoin is up by 7.3 times.
