Samsung Electronics America Floats Virtual Store on Decentraland

Just days after Samsung Electronics announced it will integrate Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) into its next generation of television sets, the American arm of the tech giant has floated its Samsung 837x store on Decentraland. Named after the Samsung 837x store the company set up in New York City, the virtual park will reignite the company’s technological experiences and how it is showcased to its fans around the world.

Available for only a limited time, the Samsung 837x will recreate new experiences for visitors through Connectivity Theater, the Sustainability Forest, and the Customization stages respectively. Samsung is now the latest global tech brand to float a replica of one of its most revered stores on Decentraland and the largest to date.

What Virtual Visitors are to Expect

The Samsung 837x Connectivity Theater is aimed at unveiling the company’s “news from the CES stage and allowing guests to learn more about the powerful experiences that come from seamless connectivity and customized solutions powered by Samsung technology.”

A few days ago, Samsung announced its plans to plant 2 million trees drawing on blockchain technology provided by veritree. This proposed ecosystem will be featured prominently in the Sustainability Forest, which is a portal where guests can embark on a journey through millions of trees – and even have a mythic encounter.

The last phase is the Customization Stage and is aimed at celebrating the debut of 837x. In this stage, guests are invited to our first-ever metaverse mixed reality live dance party hosted by brilliant producer, DJ, and Vibraphonist, Gamma Vibes, from the physical Samsung 837 location.
