Sin City NFT by Frank Miller sold for roughly $840k at an auction

While Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) continue to dominate the blockchain market, the creator of Sin City comic, Frank Miller, just sold his Sin City NFT for $840k! 

The popularity of NFTs is reaching beyond boundaries as plenty of creators are getting ready to sell their NFTs. 

Frank Miller is indeed new to the industry as he is still working, learning, and growing at Gala Games and Concept Art House. The art was built on these networks that use blockchain technology.

The NFT piece was an animated version of one of the most well-known and most-talked-about scenes of the Sin City comic, i.e., the death of Detective John Hartigan. The fans of the comic went crazy for this NFT. 

The Sin City NFT auction was intense 

The Sin City NFT auction was quite intense as the time was extended by another 2 hours. One of the auction rules stated that if a customer bids in the last 5 minutes, another 10 minutes will be added so that every bidder gets the chance to counter. 

The auction was held in a partnership with OpenSea as three bidders were competing for the Sin City NFT during the end moments of the auction. The last moments raised the price of the NFT by 25,000 and $50,000. 

The bids took off from 435,000 to $591,000, followed by $800,000 as it finally settled at $840,986.16. This made the art the most expensive NFT of a comic book ever sold. Sure, we have a long way to go in this industry but, this was a historic moment for Frank Miller. 

Furthermore, Miller has entered into a deal with Gala Games and Concept Art House to celebrate the 30 years of Sin City graphic novel with the creation of 10 NFTs. 

The motion and sound will be added by Concept Art to animate the NFTs, while Gala will be providing the platform to increase the sales of these NFTs.
