Turkey Deploys Blockchain to Power its e-Human Projects

One of the most active nations in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space is Turkey, and it seeks to accomplish more. In a report by Cointelegraph Turkey on Wednesday, its president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan revealed information about the country’s e-human project which is powered by blockchain.

The e-Humaan project is coming ahead of the country’s national blockchain summit. Interestingly, the project is aimed at improving residents’ growth, development, and employability. According to the report, the project is beneficial to students, fresh graduates, as well as public workers.

With the e-Human site, fresh graduates can look for employment and internship spaces in private and public firms. Similarly, public employees can also have access to accredited training. Students, on the other hand, will benefit from the educational content on the site as well as be able to attend career talks and events hosted in the country.

Furthermore, the project would ensure blockchain technology safeguards all services, and data the system uses. It will also serve as an avenue where the president will be able to exchange data and technologies linked to career, talent acquisition, and remote education.

Turkey Increases Interest in the Blockchain Space

Meanwhile, the authorities in Turkey have always shown keen interest in the digital asset class. President Erdoğan has been driving discussions about futuristic innovations in space. Earlier in the year, he instructed the officials of the ruling party to organize a forum to discuss new developments in specialized aspects of technology that will be hosted on the metaverse.

Interestingly Turkey ranks 12th in this year’s crypto adoption index. The nation leads the Middle East and North Africa region with $192 billion in crypto transactions recorded between July 2021 and June 2020. Owing to the rate of crypto adoption in the country, leading crypto exchange platform Binance chose the nation for the launch of its 24/7 customer service center.

While the nation is yet to implement specific policies to regulate its crypto market, its finance minister Dr. Nureddin Nebati recently met with Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao to discuss the blockchain ecosystem.
