Vitalik Buterin’s Wallet Data
In accordance with a recent report, Spot On Chain, one of the analysts, estimated that Vitalik Buterin has deposited approximately 2,421 ETH, with a combined value exceeding $3.9 million, in his most recent transactions of ETH deposits into centralized exchanges over the last 10 days, starting from September 15th onwards.
$3.94M Worth Ether Deposited
The platform noted: Notably, Vitalik Buterin has deposited a total of 2,421ETH to multiple CEXs at 1,628 on average ($3.94M) via two addresses over the past 10 days.
In addition, the platform provided details about deposits totaling 321 ETH sent to Kraken during the period between September 15 and September 19.
A Series of Transactions
It has been reported that Buterin made a series of transactions, depositing a cumulative amount of 1,700 ETH into Bitstamp on both September 17 and September 20, and on September 19, he deposited 500 ETH into Paxos.
Among all the transactions, the one that generated significant attention among crypto enthusiasts was the revelation of a 400 ETH transfer, valued at approximately $632,000, initiated from Vitalik Buterin’s wallet and directed to Coinbase on September 25th.
Vitalik Buterin has Staked Only a Small Portion of his Ether
The Ethereum founder recently made headlines by announcing that he had staked only a small fraction of his Ethereum holdings. In a recent episode of the Bankless podcast on June 29, Buterin underscored a crucial aspect regarding the security and ease of access to staked ETH. These disclosures closely followed his earlier remarks in a separate report where he pointed out that privacy represents a major obstacle for Ethereum.
Furthermore, concerning the issue of privacy, Dmitry Buterin, Vitalik’s father, revealed in his post on X on September 9 that his son’s X account had been compromised.
