This policy explains what TheCoinrise collects, why, and what we do not collect. It is short because there is not much to say – and that is the point. This site runs one third-party script and no advertising technology at all.
The short version
Three things touch data when you read this site: our own server, your browser, and Google Analytics. Nothing else.
Data flow
Everything that sees anything when you load a page
Most publishers have a dozen boxes on the right of this diagram. We have one, and we would rather show you the diagram than describe it in a clause.
Our web server records the standard information every web server records: the IP address that made the request, the page requested, the time, the browser’s user-agent string and the referring page. These logs exist for security and for diagnosing faults. They are not used to build a profile of you, they are not combined with anything else, and they are not shared.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people read the site, which stories they read and roughly where in the world they are. IP addresses are handled by Google’s own anonymisation, and we do not use Analytics for advertising, remarketing or audience export. We look at totals; we are not trying to identify readers, and the tool as we have configured it does not let us.
You can block it. A tracker blocker, a privacy-focused browser, or declining in the consent banner will all stop the tag loading, and the site works exactly the same without it.
What is set
What is not
You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time without losing access to anything here, because there is nothing here to log in to.
When you write to the news desk or to advertising, we hold your message and your address so we can reply and so we have a record of what was agreed or reported. We do not add you to a mailing list – we do not run one. If you have asked to remain anonymous as a source, we treat that as binding.
We do not ask for and do not want: wallet addresses, seed phrases, private keys, exchange credentials, identity documents or payment details. Nobody at TheCoinrise will ever ask you for any of them. If a message claiming to be from us does, it is a fraud – report it and do not reply.
If you are in the EU, the UK or another region with data protection law, you have the right to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to object to processing. In practice the answer for a reader is usually “an entry in a server log and an anonymous analytics event”, but ask anyway and we will tell you.
Write to advertising@thecoinrise.com. We will respond within 30 days.
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 16.
If this policy changes we will change it here, and the date at the top of the page will move. We will not quietly add an ad network and update the wording afterwards – adding one would be a visible change to the site, and this page would say so.
