MetaMask, the popular Ethereum wallet and decentralized application browser, has forged a strategic partnership with Daylight, an on-chain project focused on enhancing user experience and accessibility within the blockchain ecosystem. According to a blog post, this collaboration is a step forward in streamlining the process for users to verify their eligibility for airdrops and Non-Fungible Token (NFT) claims directly through the wallet’s interface.

MetaMask Users Can Check Their Eligibility Via Different Network

Notably, the collaboration between MetaMask and Daylight holds promise for users and projects within the blockchain space. For users, it means greater convenience and efficiency in claiming rewards and participating in token distributions. By leveraging MetaMask’s widespread adoption and user base, Daylight can extend its reach and impact, making it easier for individuals to engage with on-chain activities.

Meanwhile, users can check their Airdrop and NFT-claim eligibility across several networks, like Ethereum (ETH), Optimism, Arbitrum (ARB), and Polygon (MATIC), amongst others.

Traditionally, users have had to navigate through multiple websites and platforms to ascertain their eligibility, often encountering technical barriers and complexities. This partnership seeks to eliminate such friction points by providing a seamless, one-stop solution within the wallet’s ecosystem.

MetaMask Introduces Buying Crypto in Portfolio Dapp

Recall that last year, ConsenSys-backed Metamask launched a new fiat-to-crypto ramp for its portfolio dApp. With the feature, MetaMask users can use fiat in their wallets to directly purchase up to 90 cryptocurrencies. The addition aims to simplify the process of buying cryptocurrencies using traditional currencies.

However, the wallet provider inked several strategic partnerships with PayPal, MoonPay, Sardine, Banxa, Transak, Mercuryo, and Onramp.money, to bring about this feature. Similarly, MetaMask users in Nigeria can directly purchase cryptocurrencies within the MetaMask mobile and Portfolio dApp to increase the accessibility of self-custody cryptocurrency purchases in Nigeria.

MetaMask Inks Several Collaborations

In October 2022, the company signed an agreement with Sardine, a platform for rapid ACH settlements, to allow users in the United States to make payments via their bank accounts. A few months later, MetaMask integrated the global payment platform PayPal for Ethereum transactions.

Also, the company collaborated with Unity for Web 3.0 plus an initiative for Web 3.0 education via its Learn program.
