Shiba Inu Boosts Shibarium With Privacy Upgrade and AI Gaming

Shiba Inu (SHIB) has recently announced a major privacy upgrade for its Shibarium Layer-2 blockchain. In a recent X post, Lucie, a team member, shared that Shibarium will have full on-chain privacy by Q2 2026. 

This will be possible through its partnership with Zama, a company that provides advanced encryption technology. This company will be integrating its advanced encryption solution into the network.

Shibarium Moves Toward Full Privacy Upgrade

According to Lucie, the main technology behind the privacy upgrade is Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE). This technology lets smart contracts work on encrypted data without needing to unlock it. As a result, all transactions and contract actions on Shibarium will be more secure and private. 

The upgrade also turns Shibarium from a regular Layer-2 chain into a privacy-focused blockchain. This push for privacy comes after Shibarium recently worked to improve its security. This decision follows a previous bridge exploit that affected the network. 

At the same time, it shows Shiba Inu’s commitment to keeping user funds and data safe. Lucie shared that Zama’s public testnet is already live on the Ethereum Sepolia network. Also, plans are in place to launch on Ethereum’s mainnet by the end of this year.

Looking ahead, Zama will bring its encryption tools to other EVM-compatible chains in the first half of 2026. By the end of the year, it will also deploy on Solana, expanding the reach of private blockchain interactions

Shiba Inu Launches Shiba-Themed AI Game

In addition to privacy upgrades, Shiba Inu has partnered with TokenPlay AI to bring a new dimension of utility to its native SHIB. TokenPlay AI will build a Shiba-themed interactive game that uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) and gives blockchain-based rewards.

SHIB holders will have access to unique incentives and immersive experiences within this ecosystem. The technology used by TokenPlay AI was created by Astra Nova. It is supported by NVIDIA and AGI research, and runs on Alibaba Cloud.

This partnership makes it easy for creators in the SHIB ecosystem to build apps and simple games without needing to know how to code, allowing for fast and scalable development.

Shiba Inu Updates Aim for Ecosystem and Developer Growth

Lucie pointed out that Shiba Inu’s latest updates are part of a broader plan to boost developers’ involvement in the ecosystem. Earlier this year, improvements to the Shibarium developer hub increased daily transactions and boosted activity on the network.

The addition of FHE privacy technology and AI gaming tools shows Shiba Inu’s long-term plan under Shytoshi’s leadership. The plan places strong emphasis on AI, blockchain, and user empowerment.

With these updates, Shibarium is set to grow into a secure, private, and interactive blockchain platform. It will offer both developers and SHIB holders new ways to participate in its expanding ecosystem.
