Ark Invest joins hands with Eaglebrook Advisors for its crypto strategies

Eaglebrook Advisors, a provider of separately managed accounts, and Cathie Wood’s Ark Invest, an investment business focused on disruptive innovation, have teamed up to make the investment in crypto strategies more approachable.

Through the arrangement, two cryptocurrency strategies actively managed by Cathie Wood’s Ark Invest will be made accessible to clients of registered investment advisors as independently managed accounts.

Eaglebrook Advisors’ Chief Operating Officer Roddy Chisholm commented on the new partnership by stating:

“We are thrilled to deliver Cathie and the ARK team’s digital asset portfolios in an efficient manner [SMAs] to everyday investors through our platform which is designed specifically for the wealth management channel. This is a game changer for the industry and yet another sign of mainstream adoption.” 

Ark Invest aims to bring innovation

Through a variety of exchange-traded funds, portfolio manager Cathie Wood- headed Ark Invest exposes investors to disruptive innovation. The $7.9 billion in assets under management of its flagship fund, the ARK Innovation ETF, are down 55.72% year to date. The fund’s assets peaked during the latest bull market at over $28 billion.

Eaglebrook-using registered financial advisors’ clients will have access to two crypto strategies via Ark Invest. The first is the “cryptoasset strategy,” which will invest in the top 10 to 20 coins that stand for the financial and digital revolutions. The “cryptocurrency strategy,” which is the second strategy, entails an actively managed high-conviction portfolio that primarily invests in Bitcoin and Ether.

Wood, who massively believes in Metaverse, revealed that the strategies will be separately managed accounts (SMAs) that enable direct ownership, low minimums, and portfolio reporting integration, among other advantages, to fulfil the demands of financial advisors, wealth managers, and their customers. 

“Advisors can differentiate themselves and add to a client’s diversification by adding this new asset class to their portfolios,” Ark Invest head explains.
