Bitcoin Ashrate Rises, As Mining Rigs Claim Higher Profits

Following the increase in Bitcoin’s value, global hashrate has also been on a steady rise, going even higher, week in and week out. As at Sunday, the hashrate for the Bitcoin network is circling just above the 155 exahash (EH/s) handle, and with that, Bitcoin’s price may have just given some mining rigs new life. As a matter of facts, even the older generation mining rigs like the Bitmain’s Antminer S9 series are not left out as they are also profiting.

Bitcoin Hashrate Increases, Mining Rigs Gather Higher Profits

Just a few days ago, Bitcoin’s general hashpower was nearly 130 exahash per second (EH/s), and today it’s now up 19.23%, taking it to 155 EH/s. Without any doubt, Bitcoin (BTC) markets are having a swell time this week after being up 15.9% in just seven days. And as at the time of writing this report, a single BTC is exchanging hands for just above the $55K mark, even as the global trade volume has reached $35.2 billion.

This time is absolutely an amazing one for mining rigs though, seeing as the higher price per BTC has made them more profitable than they were a few weeks back. Considering today’s BTC difficulty, however, and also taking electrical costs of around $0.12 per kilowatt-hour (kWh) into account, the Microbt Whatsminer M30S++ is raking in over $34 a day per machine. But of course, the M30S++ is quite a powerful machine, boasting of a whopping each 112 terahash per second (TH/s) per each Microbt machine.

The Bitmain Antminer S19 Pro, which has a hashrate of 110 TH/s also makes over $34 daily with its output too. Meanwhile, the Canaan Avalonminer 1246 with about 90 TH/s in hashrate is estimated to be making $25.88 per day, at least, according to today’s rate for BTC exchanges. Finally, the Strongu Hornbill H8 Pro also shows that it produces at 84 TH/s and profits by $23.67 per day using current exchange rates.
