Interestingly, the NFTs also qualify holders for exclusive premium packages that include a Budweiser football march kit and a chance to win a 360 Pass Experience. The winner of the 360 Pass Experience gets to enjoy VIP treatment for the final match in Doha.

The beer brand is no stranger to the world of NFTs as some of its NFTs collections include its “Royal Series” and its” Budverse Can Heritage Edition” features on OpenSea.

FIFA Enters Interesting Partnership with crypto firms

While it’s no longer news that several crypto firms have used sports as a major outlet to spread their message, as such, the upcoming world cup with a large cult following will prominently feature several crypto-related activities.

Although trading cryptocurrency is essentially illegal in Qatar – the host city, the arguably largest sporting tournament, just weeks away from kick-off has an interesting partnership with several crypto firms.

Earlier in the year, the world football governing body tapped Algorand as its official blockchain partner. The partnership was indicative of FIFA’s commitment to exploring innovative channels for sustainable revenue growth. The partnership officially marked FIFA’s entry into the world of blockchain.

After its partnership with Algorand, FIFA launched FIFA+ Collect in readiness for the world cup. The NFT collection which will capture memorable moments during the competition was built on the Algorand blockchain.

Similarly, FIFA also chose crypto.com as its official exchange for the Mundial allowing the exchange’s branding to be displayed both inside and outside the stadiums during the tournament.
