Elon Musk to accept DOGE for his Boring Company’s products

Elon Musk founded the underground tunneling technology company The Boring Company, and has just expanded its business by introducing a new perfume. Customers are allowed to buy the product using Dogecoin, Elon Musk’s preferred cryptocurrency.

According to a recent tweet from Elon Musk, The Boring Company, which previously hinted at its DOGE acceptance plans, has unveiled a fairly unique product: a perfume whose scent is similar to “a candle at the dinner table.” Customers can purchase the perfume in Dogecoin in addition to paying using fiat money, the billionaire said.

Elon Musk and Dogecoin

It is no secret that Elon Musk, the richest man in the world, is a strong supporter of Dogecoin. He had acknowledged putting some of his own money in it during the previous few years, and he had frequently extolled the virtues of the token.

The billionaire claimed in August that Dogecoin can process more transactions per second than Bitcoin. He used the comparison between the time it takes to complete a DOGE transaction and a BTC transaction to illustrate his argument.

Once again, the token’s value increased as a result of The Boring Company’s most recent interaction with it. However, it is presently trading at around $0.059, according to CoinMarketCap.

The South African-born entrepreneur signaled his aim to eventually acquire Twitter for $44 billion by purchasing more than 70,000,000 shares of the firm earlier this year, or 9.2% of the total outstanding shares. A few hours later, DOGE soared by 33%, reaching a high of $0.15 per coin.

Twitter concurred with the terms of the sales, but Elon Musk had not yet made up his mind. In July, he asserted that the deal had been terminated because the company had not “complied with its contractual obligations” and had not addressed its problems with fraud and fake accounts.

The CEO of Tesla announced last week that he has changed his mind and is prepared to acquire Twitter for the original offer price of $44 billion, or $54.20 per share. this news again rose the value of  DOGE by more than 8%.
