The verbal battle between American media personality Logan Paul and investigative YouTube Journalist Stephen Findeisen popularly known as Coffeezilla has taken a new turn.
In what seems like an unbelievable situation, Logan has destroyed evidence of his threat against Coffezilla and has also dropped all plans to sue the latter. Coffeezilla confirmed this new development in a tweet.
“Logan called me. He said he’s deleting the two responses, and is dropping the lawsuit threats. I believe he’s making a 3rd response, which I’ll be delaying my video to include. Hopefully this time he takes accountability and refunds the victims of CryptoZoo. That’s what matters.”
He later shared a message from Logan which confirmed that he has deleted the video citing that “The war is not with Coffee. In fact, I’m grateful he brought this to light. I will be taking accountability, apologizing, and coming forward with a plan in the near future.”
The chaos between Logan and Coffeezilla started after the YouTube journalist called out Logan for allegedly contacting criminals and ex-convicts to build his Non-fungible token (NFT) game project, CryptoZoo which eventually turned out to be a scam. Coffeezilla released a couple of videos that were investigations into the activities of CryptoZoo and its developers.
Although Logan claimed that the game was original, Coffeezilla explained that it was only a result of code copied from the FlokiShibX ecosystem. Users were made to believe that they will generate huge gains from investing their funds in CryptoZoo. Subscribed users buy Zoocoin (ZOO) which they exchange for NFT eggs in the game.
These NFT eggs hatch into animals that will later be sold for more ZOO and the cycle continues. The amount of rarity in each bred animal determines how much money an investor makes in the long run. However, no gain was made by any of the players who plunged in their funds in the form of ZOO. Funds worth more than $2.5 million were invested into the NFT game.
With all these accusations out to the public, Logan threatened to sue Coffeezilla for defamation claiming that he only used his name to generate views and money, a threat he has now made a u-turn from.
