Pharma Bro Offers Prison-Survival Advice to Former FTX Boss

Martins Shkreli with the moniker ‘Pharma bro’ who recently claimed he knows who the real Satoshi Nakamoto is, has come up with another opinion piece but this time around for the former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of bankrupt FTX Sam Bankman-Fried ‘SBF’. In Shkreli’s opinion, Bankman-Fried would not fit or survive prison with his current look and demeanor therefore, he advised him to make certain adjustments.

As an ‘expert’ in prison vacations having spent up to four years at a penitentiary for securities fraud, the Pharma bro spoke at an episode of the crypto podcast Unchained recommending that SBF becomes more rascally by shaving his hair and deepening his voice. In addition, Shkreli says Bankman-Fried may need to pump up his gangster skills so he should consider rap music.

As far as Shkreli is concerned, being a rich white kid from a good neighborhood doesn’t sound great for someone who would be going to prison, hence, the need for the rebranding.

Notably, Martins Shkreli just completed his jail term in May this year after being held at the low-security federal prison in Allenwood, Pennsylvania since 2018. He was meant to be released in September 2022 but later got an earlier release date.

Bankman-Fried May Have to Change his Identity

“Sam is going to have a lot of issues because he is a bit of an effeminate guy and his demeanour — some people say autistic sort of sense, or sensibility — is not something that goes over well in prison,” adding that “He also doesn’t know anything about the streets and criminal culture, my advice is to pick those things up as quickly as he can, he should be listening to as much rap music as possible, he should be trying everything there is to know about gangs.”

SBF may have to completely deny his original identity to fit into this den of “testosterone-filled, masculine” people. Even the fact that he attended Stanford University is not expected to be mentioned in any way. However this sounds hilarious, Shkreli believes that these are the survival nuggets he needs to outlive the federal prison.

Before he was granted the 250 million bond bail, his relatives also requested that he be served only vegan meals to meet up with his dietary requirements.
