Shiba Inu Now Accepted as a Means of Payment by Swiss Multinational Fidinam

Fidinam Group, a Switzerland-based multinational firm has announced it now accepts Shiba Inu (SHIB) token as one of its methods of payment. The update was shared by Shiba Xanders, one of the Admin at Shiba Venezuela who took to Twitter to congratulate the members of the memecoin’s community.

Fidinam Group is a business consulting firm that has entrenched its legacy since 1960 when it was founded. The company helps entrepreneurs and innovators to actualize their dreams, and its open-mindedness is now counting as a big win for the broader Shiba Inu community. 

According to the update from Xanders, the Fidinam Group has a presence beyond Switzerland including Germany, Austria, Belgium, the United Kingdom, the USA, and Spain in the coming months is certain evidence that more users in varying climes will gain exposure to the digital asset one way or another.

The emergence of memecoins began with Dogecoin (DOGE), and lend a high level of uncertainty to the roles of digital currencies in human culture and interests in the early ages. However, there has been a very significant shift in the perception of these memecoins, and what is typically tagged as a joke is now being used in critical business transactions.

Shiba Inu and the Redefining Memcoin Utility

Beyond Dogecoin, memecoins like Shiba Inu have become more prominent, not just for their impressive price actions, but also for their growing adoption. Earlier this month Nasdaq-listed stock and crypto trading app integrated Shiba Inu into its platform on account of the increasing demand from customers who prefers to trade the highly volatile digital assets.

A number of utility is now being associated with the Shiba Inu token, as more and more global brands have started lending support for its acceptance as a payment means. From the integration of the SHIB token alongside Dogecoin by AMC Theatres a few days ago, other companies ranging from Twitch to SlingTV also let users pay for their services as facilitated by Bitpay.
