Terra Classic Development Group Tries to Get Credit for Allnodes’ Job

After identifying a series of problems users encounter when using Terra Station which is the official mobile wallet for managing Terra assets, an independent Terra Classic development group, TerraCVita plans to fix these issues.

This is according to a tweet from a Twitter user who shared Discord messages from Rex Harrison, AKA Rexzy (@RexYellerBelly), a senior member of the TerraCVita team.

According to the tweets, it identified a number of immediate and long-term issues the Terra Station suffers. These issues ranged from infrastructure instability that affected staking and either on the platform to incompatibility with the Interchain Station.

The crypto community afterward criticized TerraCVita for attempting to take credit for the message. According to the community, the message is identical to an earlier post by Jared, a Terraform Labs staff.

In fact, a user by the name of Asobs (@Asobs_CNG), reportedly ran a plagiarism test which submitted a 79.3% match with Jared’s earlier post.

According to the earlier post by Jared, Allnodes, Terra Rebels, and TerraCVita were amongst those working to resolve the infrastructural issues.

Rex, on the contrary, says TerraCVita, Terra Rebels, and Terraform Labs (TFL) are the teams working on possible solutions to fix the stability issues due to infrastructure challenges. He also mentioned that TerraCVita is working with TFL to make the Classic Network compatible with the Interchain Station.

Terra Station Transitions to Interchain Station

Earlier in the week, Terra Station’s transition to the Interchain Station threatened its support for the Terra Classic Network as it needed to onboard onto the Rebels station wallet by December 15th.

Terra Classic has to change the wallet prefix that it shared with LUNAv2.0 for it to be supported by the new Interchain Station. This move which is estimated to take at least six months was necessary to identify which chain to send transactions to on the wallet.

However, TFL later found a way for Terra Station to maintain support for Terra Classic. As per the tweets shared by Jared, TFL will create a clone of the existing Terra Station wallet for Terra Classic.
