Ukraine has lost many lives from the attacks from the Russian military and to preserve the timeline of major events, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of the nation has started an online nonfungible token or NFT museum.
On Friday, Mykhailo Fedorov, the country’s minister of digital transformation tweeted that the government has launched a project to depict key moments from the Ukrainian perspective from February 24 onward through NFT artworks.
While Russia uses tanks to destroy Ukraine, we rely on revolutionary blockchain tech. @Meta_History_UA NFT-Museum is launched. The place to keep the memory of war. And the place to celebrate the Ukrainian identity and freedom. Check here: https://t.co/IrNV0w54tg

These NFTs would feature events starting at 5:45 AM local time on that day when Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a “special military operation” in Ukraine’s Donbas region.
According to the Ukraine NFT museum’s website at the time of publication, 54 NFTs depicting pivotal moments in the fight between February 24 and February 26 will be available beginning March 30, with proceeds in Ether (ETH) going to “support army and civilians.” The artwork depicts a wide range of events and sources, including tweets from government officials, photos from media organizations, and international leaders’ responses “accompanied by personal reflections.”
“While Russia uses tanks to destroy Ukraine, we rely on revolutionary blockchain tech. The NFT museum is the place to keep the memory of war. And the place to celebrate Ukrainian identity and freedom,” said Fedorov.
On the other hand, the NFT museum states:
“We will never let any single day of this period disappear from the ledger of world history.”
For the project’s blockchain architecture, the Ministry of Digital Transformation collaborated with members of the NFT platform Fair.xyz.
Since February 26, the Ukrainian government has been accepting crypto donations directly through wallet addresses given by the Ministry of Digital Transformation. It even launched a crypto donation platform after partnering up with FTX, Kuna, and Everstake.
As of March 9, various charities, humanitarian groups, and government wallets have received around $108 million in cryptocurrency for humanitarian and military aid in Ukraine, as TheCoinRise reported.
