Vitalik Buterin, the co-founder of the second biggest crypto Ethereum has recently responded to tweets that compared his appearance at the Time Magazine with that of NFL star and founder of the NFT marketplace Autograph, Tom Brady.
Buterin has been negatively compared with Brady after he recently spoke about his major concerns regarding the crypto industry in an appearance.
The quote tweets on the new time article about me are truly amazing.
These are barely even cherry picked, it's pretty much one piece of awesome after another. Highly recommend scrolling. https://t.co/teyd3ROqrT pic.twitter.com/BDzbwvekhw

Interestingly, Buterin faced the critics on a comical note and even posted collages of the highly “recommended” tweets. He went on to admit that he was not aware of who Tom Brady was and was thinking that he was being related to actor Tom Cruise at first. After that, Brady chimed in to express his fandom and gratitude for Ethereum co-founder.
What’s up Vitalik! You may not know me but just wanted to say I’m a big fan of yours. thank you for everything you’ve built in the world of crypto, otherwise @Autograph wouldn’t have been possible. Hope I get to meet you some day you’re the 🐐 https://t.co/W6PxS5P78M

Brady referred to Buterin as the G.O.A.T., a term that refers to individuals who are the “Greatest Of All Time” in their profession. It is frequently used in regard to Brady because he is the only NFL player to have won seven championships. Autograph “wouldn’t have been possible” without Buterin, according to Brady. Autograph, which has completed a $170 million fundraising round, wants to use the funds in scaling the company’s NFT technology and user base expansion, according to company spokespeople at the time.
In February, Tom Brady announced retirement from football and said that he wants to focus on the Autograph. The startup had previously welcomed legends like The Weeknd and the CEO of crypto exchange FTX to the board of directors.
The first-ever issue released as an NFT on the blockchain by Time includes Buterin’s cover article. The decentralized magazine edition would be accessible this Wednesday. The journal is accepting Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), XRP, Dogecoin (DOGE), and other crypto tokens as payment for digital subscriptions as part of its push for Web3 initiatives. The company’s NFT arm, TIMEPieces, tweeted on Sunday that the governance and utility token of the Bored Ape Yacht Club or BAYC, ApeCoin (APE), will be added to its list of acceptable cryptocurrencies soon.
