Whitehall Capital partners with Securitize to offer hold funds using blockchain tech

The London-based loan providing company, Whitehall Capital has joined hands with the American digital asset securities marketplace Securitize to sign an agreement for its investors to hold their funds as blockchain tokens.

As per the announcement made by the company on Monday, Whitehall investors would now have the option to use, buy, and sell units in the Whitehall funds through the Scrutinize platform. 

According to a Monday announcement, Whitehall investors will be able to use, buy and sell units in the Whitehall fund via the Securitize platform. An investor’s assets will appear as an amount of tokenized units after registering on Securitize, along with performance markers, investment reports, and other useful information. They might also exchange the units with other investors by submitting a bid to acquire or sell a specific number of units.

Whitehall Capital aims to generate 8%-10% annual income

According to Anthony Bodenstein, managing partner at Whitehall Capital, the blockchain tokens, which are backed by loans secured by real estate assets, would generate an annual income of 8%–10%: He went on to state:

“As there is currently no secondary market for investments in Whitehall Capital, we anticipate investors will quickly take to the benefits of working with this easy-to-use and interactive platform and holding units in this way.”

Under the agreement, Securitize has been given the responsibility to issue tokenized shares, offer them to shareholders, and track transaction activity on the blockchain.

Crypto partnerships are rising high with several big names entering the space. Recently, payment firm Nium partnered with BitPay, the crypto payment processor, to add crypto payments for businesses.

Moreover, the biggest crypto exchange in the world, Binance has teamed up with the Recording Academy to offer its services at the 64th Grammy Awards.
