The crypto community’s support for Ukraine has been skyrocketing with the total donations going continuously up. As per the reports, the donations across wallet addresses, relief funds, and charities have crossed $108 million.
The top three donations came from the official Bitcoin and Ethereum wallet addresses of the Ukrainian government, and a Bitcoin donations address from Come Back Alive. After huge demand for accepting donations in other altcoins, the government also introduced wallets for major coins like DOT and DOGE.
On Wednesday, the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), joined the crypto fundraising efforts for Ukraine. The creators behind BAYC announced that after collecting approximately $1 million in ETH from wallets carrying a BAYC non-fungible coin, they would equal the donation with a $1 million ETH donation of their own.
It's been inspiring seeing our community come together in support of Ukraine – almost $1m in ETH has been donated to @Ukraine by wallets containing a BAYC ecosystem NFT. Today we're matching that with a $1m ETH donation of our own. 🦍♥️🇺🇦

Crypto exchange Kraken has also announced that it has planned to donate more than $10 million to clients who are creating an account from Ukraine before March 9 under its relief efforts.
Ukrainian Kraken users will receive $1,000 in BTC regardless of their account level during the first batch of fund releases. This amount can be withdrawn instantly. For withdrawals of up to $1,000, the exchange also eliminated currency exchange fees.
Cryptocurrency remains an important social instrument, especially at a time when people around the globe can no longer rely on conventional banking and institutions, says Jesse Powell, Kraken’s CEO.
The money will be delivered over the course of the year, to give Ukrainians time to finish Kraken’s “intermediate” Know-Your-Customer (KYC) verification process.

Binance’s Ukraine Emergency Relief Fund, which has received approximately $11.3 million in BTC, BNB, and BUSD since its launch, is another remarkable contribution. Furthermore, it looks that Kuna’s Crypto Fund of Ukraine has received approximately $14 million in significant cryptocurrencies like Polkadot (DOT), Tether (USDT), Candle (CNDL), USD Coin (USDC), and Dai (DAI) since its previous update on March 3.
